Contract Agreement & Guidelines for Company members  

 

Company acceptance is by invitation or audition only. A member will be placed by the director in a level based on age and skill and must adhere to the following requirements:

 

  • Annual dues is required which can be paid at time of registration or broken down into monthly payments.  Annual dues are payable regardless of how many times company members meet for class and or rehearsal.  Junior & Senior monthly dues are $65 and Apprentices monthly dues are $50.

    Payment is due the first week of every month.  Checks payable to MPPAC

  • A minimum of two ballet classes per week at MPSPA is required. 

  • All company members are required to take summer ballet classes.

  • Members will be expected to attend all rehearsals and must have a good class attendance record to remain in the company.  Unexcused absences for more than 2 days per month may warrant dismissal from the company.  Excused absences include the following: sickness, mandatory school functions, family death, planned family vacation.  All absences must be called in, emailed or texted.  If absence is due to injury member should still come to class or rehearsal and observe if possible.

  • Dress Code must be adhered to at all regular classes.Members must be prepared for ballet class with ballet shoes, pointe shoes, and hair in a bun.

  • Members must be willing to accept any part given to them by the Artistic Director.They must be willing to accept all choreography, music and costumes designated by the Artistic Director.

  • Negative attitude or conflicts towards each other or instructor will warrant dismissal from the company.

  • No refunds will be given if dismissed for any reason stated in this contract.

  • Members and parents will receive periodic emails with important information.You are asked to respond to every email so that we know you received and them.It is our best means of communication.

  • Members should do their best in fundraising events. We need your support in fundraising!

  • Each company member is encouraged to help promote our performances i.e. selling tickets and helping with distribution of posters prior to the performances.
